About Me

The first thing that comes to my mind when I think about what to write about myself is that I am a mom of two red headed boys that are three and four years old.  Currently, and for I'm sure what will amount to the rest of my life, I spend my days with them and the many surprises and adventures they have in store for me each day.  Even before they and their dad came into my life I spent a majority of my time figuring out how to be different from everyone else.  I used the skills I inherited from crafty and creative genes to make this possible.  Whether it was designing my prom dress, sewing my own clothes, or the tireless hours I spent shopping, I tried to be unique.  I think I did a pretty good job and still try do the same. The results these days are these creations for the sweetie bugs that surround me each day.

I grew up living all over the country but call south Orange County, California home since we moved there when my twin sister and I were twelve.  I met my husband in high school, we dated the last month of senior year.  After which I moved to Utah to attend BYU.  I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Management and then returned to Orange County to get married, only to find myself back in Utah a few months later so my husband could also go to college.  Most recently we lived in Los Angeles while he attended Dental School at UCLA.  We are elated to be back home closer to family and friends in south Orange County.  We have been very blessed to make great friends over the past few years while we were at school.  Many of these friends have inspired the creations and projects you will see on this site.

Time for crafting often comes second to some of the other things I enjoy doing.  I love to take my boys to the beach and the pool, dig for sand crabs, make sand castles for them to destroy, snowboard, wake board, and hang out with my husband.
